DIANE: But I know that this is for every single believer. God wants every person walking, living, and being a glory carrier, releasing the glory of God. The anointing is not enough, Sid. Because we work the anointing. The Bible says out of our belly flows rivers of living waters. The Holy Spirit is working with us. We’re working with Him. But when the glory of God shows up, Father God shows up, and it’s all him, and we don’t do anything. We don’t get the credit. He gets all the glory. And so it takes off a load.

SID: But this is all the time with you. I kind of protest. I want it all the time with me. Any of you in the studio audience want it all the time?

Audience: Amen!

SID: I know in a moment I’m going to have Diane release that glory. And I’m going to pray that when she does this, you will experience, some of you for the very first time in your life, that you’ll feel or you’ll see, or you may, you know, at Pentecost they even heard a sound like a rushing wind. The glory of God. With every one of your natural senses and your supernatural senses. But I’ve got to pray with you right now.

SID: Some of you haven’t, you’ve entered into religion for many, many years, but some of you haven’t entered into your own experience. It’s good that I had an experience. It’s good that Diane had an experience. It’s good that the whole world would have an experience. But what about me? God hasn’t forgotten you, and that’s why I’m going to pray with you right now to know Jesus.

SID: Repeat out loud after me, Dear God …

Audience: Dear God …

SID: I’ve made many mistakes …

Audience: I’ve made many mistakes …

SID: For which I’m so sorry.

Audience: For which I’m so sorry.

SID: I believe …

Audience: I believe …

SID: Jesus died for my mistakes.

Audience: Jesus died for my mistakes.

SID: And by his blood …

Audience: And by his blood …

SID: I’m not only forgiven …

Audience: I’m not only forgiven …

SID: But you have no remembrance of my past.

SID: And now that I am new …

SID: Jesus, come and live inside of me.

SID: Be my savior and Lord.

SID: Diane, I’m going to experiment. I might regret this. I’m going to experiment. Do you think you could stand up and pray?

DIANE: Sure.

SID: What do you think? Say all things are possible.

DIANE: I think I can. Yes, yes, all things are possible. Wow. Whoa. Wow. Okay. Father God, right now in the name of Jesus, Father, thank you for the blood of Jesus that allows us to enter boldly into your throne room. And Father, I just thank you right now that you’re so amazing. You’re so awesome. You’re so glorious. And Father, I just thank you right now for just releasing an impartation of your glory right now, Father God, upon these in this place right now in this studio right now. Father, let your glory just fall upon them. Father, let them be caught up in your glory. And Father, even those watching, Lord God, I thank you, Father God, that they’re being captivated by your love. They’re being captivated by your heart. They’re being captivated by your glory.

DIANE: Father, thank you, Lord God. Thank you. And I just pray these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen and amen. Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!

SID: Everything speeds up. Prayers speed up in the glory, but this is the over the top. Everyone’s heard of Kanye West, right? Tell me about the prayer for Kanye West.

DAVID: Well, we were doing a crusade in Phoenix last year. It was Awaken 2020, the first stadium event… The only stadium event in 2020, I think, in America because of the shutdown. And I had a dream that Kanye was going to be in our event and our event was already packed out. We had all the speakers and I said, “Lord, please stop teasing me.” And one thing led to another, a week before the event, his manager calls me, “Hey, Kanye actually wants to come.” I’m like, “Oh my gosh, that’s great. But now I have to change the stage. And we have to raise money to get him to come,” with not just Kanye, 100-member choir. And he was there. There’s a little more to it than that, but it was again, supernatural. None of these things—

SID: You told me he was coming and I said, man of great fate, “Yeah. Uh-huh (affirmative).” But even beyond that, everything speeds up. Prophecy speeds up.

DAVID: Yes.

SID: Tell me about that.

DAVID: Oh, for instance, Ruth Heflin had prophesied to me, “David, you will do big events like civic centers, stadiums, in France and you’ll do it every three months like Kathryn Kuhlman.” I said, “That’s wonderful.” I wrote it down. Whatever, that’ll happen when it happens. She dies, so it’s a year and a half later. And the Lord said, “When are you going to walk in that prophecy?” I said, “I’m waiting for you to do it.” He goes, “No, it was ready for you when she prophesied it because in the glory, it’s a now realm.” So I said, “Okay.”

DAVID: So I went and found the guy who runs the building. I made an offer. How much does it cost? I found out that he had heard about me. He said, “I’ve been waiting to meet you for a year and a half. I’m a Baptist pastor. And this is my day job. And I had to repent because I missed your revival. Half of my church went to that six-month revival. And I asked the Lord, ‘Please give me a second chance.’ So don’t worry about the money or the price. We’ll work it out. Do it every three months, if you like.”

SID: You’ve spent so many years in the glory and there’s a whole generation that has never seen what is coming. And as a matter of fact, you, David, haven’t seen what is coming because you’ve never walked that path before. You’ve walked in the glory, but it’s a matter of level and it’s going deeper and deeper and deeper, but you can fast forward us. We want to be among the first walking in the glory, give us some keys.

DAVID: First key is to be very hungry and desperate. Not just open. “Oh, I’m open.” I was desperate. I had seen everything I could do in my own anointing and what God could do at that level and I realized I hit a wall. “If I just keep going, I’m not going to go to the next level.” I had to pull back and seek him in hunger, desperateness, intimacy on a whole new level. So there’s hunger, intimacy, waiting on him and just waiting till he shows up in that new glory.

SANDRA: Only what God said! And we sat there and we sat. Little Baptist girls. And we sat there and we sat there. And after about 5 hours momma’s little eyes just begin to blink a little bit. And we got real excited, you know? And I don’t know why but we decided to pick momma up. We drug her to the kitchen. I don’t know why. I don’t know why. Drug her to the kitchen. Put her in a chair sort of like this. When we sat her in the chair she slid out of course. She’d been in a coma! [Laughs]

PAT: Yeah! [Laughing]

SANDRA: And so anyway in this process of again we kept on talking, kept on talking, kept on talking. The same thing. Never changed anything. And then she finally came around and said well maybe God wants me. She got to waking up. Maybe God is trying to teach me something or maybe this is of the Lord cause so many people say those crazy things. I mean they just aren’t true, you know?

PAT: Right, right, right, right. I had a lady say to me a couple of days ago the Lord put this sickness on me. And where I was at ministering I looked at her and said you know if we treated our children like we say our Father treats us, we’d be arrested!

SANDRA: Absolutely!

PAT: And I looked at the lady and said no!

SANDRA: Right!

PAT: That’s from the enemy!

SANDRA: Totally! God’s in the healing business! He’s not in the sickness business! He’s in the healing business!

PAT: That’s right!

SANDRA: I went in the room. Got all of momma’s medicine. Put it in a trash can and came and dumped it all out on her! I said hey! You think God’s doing this to you? Why are you taking all this medicine trying to get well? So let’s let God have fun. Just go ahead and die! 

PAT: Wow!

SANDRA: You know? Well she woke up, needless to say, about that time and became alert. I mean it’s like going to a healing meeting. If you’re going to a healing meeting and you think God’s not in the healing business what you doing there? 

PAT: That’s right!

SANDRA: You ought not be trying to get healed if you think God put it on you!   

PAT: Mmm!

SANDRA: You want to keep whatever God gave you. You don’t want to throw it away! [Laughs]

PAT: Now see you’re from Georgia.

SANDRA: Yeah.

PAT: I feel like I’m sitting with family right now!  

SANDRA: [Laughing]

PAT: We’re about to get country!

SANDRA: Yeah!

PAT: Because I’m going to tell you this, Pastor Sandra. You’re speaking to people that are watching right now.

SANDRA: Yeah!

PAT: From all over the world!

SANDRA: Yeah!

PAT: And they may be sitting in an ICU unit with a baby.

SANDRA: Yeah. Absolutely. 

PAT: When we come back in just a moment I want you to tell them how to make healing simple! It’s ministering to me because we’ve walked through some sickness in our family.

SANDRA: Yeah. Yeah.

PAT: You know look if you’re not coming up against the devil it’s cause you flow with him!

SANDRA: Yeah! Absolutely!  

PAT: And sitting Christians hatch hypocrites!

PAT: So there’s a moment where you got to realize enough! 

SANDRA: Yeah.

PAT: Walk to your front door. Say, devil get out of my house!

SANDRA: Amen!

SANDRA: We got to get two against one wins! We’ve got to get your spirit and your soul lined up against the body. And once you get your spirit what? That’s renewing your mind with the Word of the Lord. That’s you doing that. You renew your mind. You get in agreement with God’s Word. The minute your soul agrees with the spirit which is already inside of your born again spirit man. The very minute that you begin to think the thoughts of God this body will respond! Two against one wins! Are you following what I’m saying?

AUDIENCE: Yes.

SANDRA: You want me to tell you why you’re sick now? Because you have gotten in agreement with your soul which says when you get to that age this happens to you. When you go here this happens to you. It’s everywhere around. You know the flu season is everywhere! Watch out, you’re going to get it! Hello? And the two of you have gotten in agreement and so you can’t hear the Holy Ghost back here saying woo! Wait a minute! Wait a minute! Wait a minute! All the healing power is here. All the healing power is here. Are you listening to me?

AUDIENCE: Yes.

SANDRA: So all of God’s healing power for every person is here. Thank you. Every person here is already in you!

AUDIENCE: Amen!

SANDRA: Now that was some really good teaching! I hope you got that!

AUDIENCE: [Laughter and clapping] 

SANDRA: If I had taken more time to tell you that, I can tell you hundreds of people have been healed by understanding that process! Because you begin to understand that you don’t have to hunt God. God is inside of you! All of the healing power of God is inside of you! All you have to do is change the way you think! You’ve got to start agreeing with what God says about you! Not what your body says! Not what your body says! You cannot let your body rule your life! That’s what Mr. Gruver was saying. You cannot let your body under any circumstance tell you whether you’re healed or not!

AUDIENCE: Amen.

SANDRA: You know you don’t check your body out. Somebody prays for you. You don’t check it out. Well no. The tumor is still here. I guess I didn’t get it. That didn’t mean you didn’t get it.  It means that you all of a sudden are agreeing with the tumor.

AUDIENCE: Amen!

SANDRA: And disagreeing with God!

AUDIENCE: Amen!

SANDRA: Cause God says you got it! Once you get in agreement with God you can walk in great victory! Great victory! But you got to get in agreement with God! Now you make up your mind right now! Make up your mind and say, “I am going to get this now!”

AUDIENCE: I am going to get this now!

SANDRA: Look at the person beside you. Say “I don’t know about you.”

AUDIENCE: I don’t know about you.

SANDRA: Say “But I know about me!”

AUDIENCE: But I know about me!

SANDRA: And I’m getting it

AUDIENCE: And I’m getting it!

SANDRA: Now tell the person on the other side. Say “I don’t know about you.”

AUDIENCE: I don’t know about you.

SANDRA: But I know about me!

AUDIENCE: But I know about me!

SANDRA: And I’m getting it!

AUDIENCE: And I’m getting it!

SANDRA: NOW!

AUDIENCE: NOW!

SANDRA: I’m leaving here.

AUDIENCE: I’m leaving here.

SANDRA: Healed!

AUDIENCE: Healed!

SID: Would you proclaim that?

BRENDA: Yes. Let’s decree it together. Come on, ready for glory in the atmosphere. We decree that an atmosphere of God’s glory floods our home. We speak and we say that the presence of the Lord is everywhere. We call for the cloud of God to glory to invade every room and crevice of our house. We say that every person who enters in through our front door is affected by the glory of God, because of the atmosphere of glory.

We receive God’s goodness, even like Moses, who saw God’s goodness when he encountered the glory. We take our authority over any demonic interference that would squelch the atmosphere of glory. Come on, now. We prophesy that in the glory we are changed. We’re healed. We’re delivered. And we submit ourselves to whatever the Holy Spirit wants to accomplish. And we thank you, Lord, that your glory permeates us. It permeates our house. And like Moses, we ask you, Lord, let us see your glory. We want to experience it in and our home.

SID: [inaudible]

BRENDA: Hallelujah. Come on and take it. Just take it, in Jesus’ name.

SID: It’s hard to believe, you have so many of these decrees. A no fly zone, what does that mean?

BRENDA: This is a favorite. This goes back to the children of Israel in Egypt. If you go to Exodus eight in verse 22, God said a powerful word. Now, this was the fourth plague. It wasn’t until the fourth plague that God said this. We go from the blood, the frogs, the lice to the flies. And at the time of the flies, God said, “On that day, I’m going to send swarms of flies into the house of the Egyptians.” But in verse 22, it says, “But I will sever in that day my people in the land of Goshen,” and this is what I always declare in our house, we live in a Goshen, a spiritual Goshen, God says, “my people in the land of Goshen from those that are in Egypt and no form or swarm a fly shall come into the house of my people.”

And God said, that in verse 23, “And I will put a division between my people.” See, this is what’s happening right now. God is putting a division. He is separating His people for His good purpose. And that the people that are on the outside are looking in. This is why they’re going to get saved. We got to sow good on this side.

So the no fly zone is no fly was allowed to come into the house of God’s people. Flies represent demons. The Bible says that, “Satan is the lord of the flies, Beelzebub. He is the lord over the flies.” So what we say in our church, this is how we pray, this is how we prophesy, that your house is a no fly zone to every demon, every power of darkness. Nothing can fly in here, because I’m separated from that.

And let me just say this over you right here, just receive this, no evil force, no plot, no plan or work of the demonic spirits can access the premise of our house. We say, and I say over you, that the doors of our home are never entered by any entity that’s in opposition to God. We break the power.

Now, I got to say this right now, I’m, I’m decreeing this over you, we break the power of every spell, every incantation, every hex, every vex, from any witch, warlock or worker of divination in the name of Jesus. I prophesy, we prophesy that no plague, no pestilence, no accident, no tragedy, no calamity, no mischief, no mayhem is allowed to enter here, in Jesus’ name.

Audience: In Jesus’ name.

SHAWN: Well sometimes God will take me into the service and He’ll – I call it like a pre-game coaching. And He’ll give me like a pre-game coaching of what’s about to take place before the game. So He’ll just take me into the place and I’ll visualize and He’ll show me someone maybe on the third row that’s dealing with migraine headaches or this person’s daughter just left or this person is sick and when I get to the service 90% of the time that person will be in the audience and God will just let that time to open up for that person. And I mean so many testimonies of people being healed just by hearing the prophetic word from the Lord!

JAMIE: So you rehearsed it already?

SHAWN: Yes. Yes.

JAMIE: Is that in your mind?

SHAWN: Well I don’t want to say my mind. I would like to say my spirit.

JAMIE: Yeah.

SHAWN: Because you know sometimes you know you have other things going on in your mind and some things you just cannot keep or just hold so much in your mind. So sometimes I’ll write it down so that way I know for sure that I won’t forget because you know the mind tends – so you’ll forget things sometimes. But it’s in your spirit that you will hear it because you know during the course of the day during the course of a service you have so many things going on there’s no way that your mind can articulate that back to a person. So it must be embedded in your spirit man!

JAMIE: That’s incredible! You know I’m of the mindset take every thought captive.

SHAWN: Yes.

JAMIE: Even the good ones!

SHAWN: Even the good ones! Even the good ones!

JAMIE: That’s exciting! Listen! When we come back I’m going to ask Shawn about the imagination and that connection between the spirit and the prophetic and even miracles!

SHAWN: Yes, yes.

JAMIE: I feel there’s something here! You’re going to watch this next session and you’re going to want to see because I believe [music] there’s going to be some miracles!

SHAWN: Oh yes there is!

JAMIE: And I feel there’s going to be a connection between our imagination and what God wants to do right now!

SHAWN: Correct!

JAMIE: Welcome back! I’m Jamie Galloway. [music ends] Shawn Morris is here and I’m excited because I think this next session we’re going to talk about miracles, the prophetic and your imagination! You touched on the imagination, Shawn –

SHAWN: Yes!

JAMIE: In our last segment.

SHAWN: Yes.

JAMIE: This is so fascinating to me because I feel this gets lost.

SHAWN: Yes!

JAMIE: For most people, they get lost. Where do we begin?

SHAWN: Well the Bible tells us, Jamie, that the Lord can do exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask or think but it’s according to the power that worketh in us. Now, most people don’t understand. It’s through the thinking realm that we receive the exceedingly abundantly things of God!  

JAMIE: Wow!

SHAWN: See our verbiage must line up with our thought process so once we get our mind on the things of the spirit we can begin to verbalize it and then bring it into manifestation. This is a form of the prophetic! It must start in the imagination realm. So once we understand the imagination realm we can begin to verbalize what we want to see come to manifestation. 

ART: So I had to weave my – all these questions, you know, what about Job? What about Paul’s thorn in the flesh? What about Jacob’s limp and all that stuff? I brought them all to the scripture and the Lord showed answers to all of Them at face value. It didn’t even take a bunch of mental gymnastics to you know fit a square peg in a round hole and make it work.

JAMIE: Right, right.

ART: And from there it took 3 months and after 3 months I was convinced. 

JAMIE: Okay. So how does that, you know, today when you see someone not healed does it push you?

ART: Yeah.

JAMIE: I mean I know personally that you know when I see somebody healed I’m like excited but when I see someone not healed at the end of a meeting or at the end of my prayer and it just pushes me to seek for more. I mean how does that play out in your heart?

ART: Yeah. So there’s one place in scripture where someone tried to minister healing in Jesus’ name and it didn’t work. The story is told 3 times but 3 different Gospels but it’s only one time it happened. And that was the epileptic boy. So Jesus, Peter, James and John come down from the mountain and they find the 9 disciples and this group of teachers of the law and just ordinary folks. They’re all just arguing and you know when we have a lack of results we produce arguments.

JAMIE: Right.

ART: We start coming up with reasons why they weren’t healed. I don’t know what their reasons were, what the argument was over but I could imagine what we say. You know maybe the little boy didn’t have enough faith. Maybe the boy’s dead.  Maybe it was this atmosphere of unbelief. All you people not believing it’s your fault and we pin it on everybody else. Right? And so Jesus walks into the middle of that and He says: You unbelieving and perverse generation! How long will I put up with you? Bring the boy to me.  

JAMIE: Whoa!

ART: Identifying yeah, I’m in an atmosphere of unbelief. Right?

JAMIE: Right. Right.

ART: Bring the boy to me. And right there in the middle of all of it He just says come out of this boy you impure spirit! 

JAMIE: Whoa.

ART: Later the disciples come and ask Him why couldn’t we do it? Because this kind only goes out by prayer and fasting. Some manuscripts say and fasting. He pins the responsibility on the disciples as ministers.  

JAMIE: Wow!

ART: I don’t like that cause a lot of people I minister to don’t get healed! And I have had people die on me! People I love. Right? But I’ve realized there’s a difference between taking the responsibility and carrying the burden!

JAMIE: Phew!

ART: Like the burden belongs to Jesus so if I walked around carrying the emotional weight of people not being healed I’d of quit this – I started in August of 2009, I’d have probably quit in November! [laughs] You know?

JAMIE: Right.

ART: So that’s not mine. The burden’s not mine. But the responsibility enough to go to Jesus and say alright Jesus. If you were standing here that would have worked. Instead they got me. 

JAMIE: Wow!

JOHN: What’s it called? Is it arthritis or something?

WOMAN #4: I’m sure it’s some arthritis.

JOHN: How far can you raise your arms?

WOMAN #4: I can raise them.

JOHN: But it’s painful, is it?

WOMAN #4: But it’s very stiff and it’s hard to turn and it comes and goes.

JOHN: Wow.

JOHN: Do you have pain in your neck now? Right now?

WOMAN #4: I’m very stiff and it’s achy and it crunches a lot.

JOHN: And what’s your name?

WOMAN #4: Florence.

JOHN: Hah! What a lovely name! Can we pray for Florence? Phew! Phew! Set her free now in Jesus’ name! Get off that body! Out! Set Florence free right now! Phew! Hey mate, get up. Hey mate! Raise your arms! Look at that! Have you forgiven the horse!  

MAN #1: Yes!

JOHN: Shooh!

MAN #1: [Laughing]

JOHN: Phew! And God’s going to keep touching you, mate! Phew! You’re a good sport! The power of God’s going to keep flowing through you! Phew! Phew! Ahh! Phew! Mate, watch out! Help this lady up here!  Fellas, help her up! Excuse me! Phew! Choooh! Choooh! Choooh! Choooh! Help her up!

AUDIENCE: [Laughter]  

JOHN: Hey, ma’am! Move your neck! Move your neck! How’s that? 

WOMAN #4: Better! Much better!

JOHN: Isn’t it amazing??

WOMAN #4: Yes, it is!

JOHN: Try your body now. How’s that?

WOMAN #4: Yeah!

JOHN: Is it gone now?

WOMAN #4: It’s still a little creaky cracky!

JOHN: Creaky! Shoooh!

AUDIENCE: [Laughter]   

JOHN: No more creaky crackies! No more creaky crackies in Jesus’ name! You know in Australia we have a cereal called “cocoa pops!” They’re cocoa pops as in snap, crackle and pop?  

AUDIENCE: Yes.

JOHN: And as soon as I pray in Jesus’ name all snap, crackle and pop — choooh! Phew! Phew! Can you move your neck now, ma’am? How’s that?

WOMAN #4: Much better!

JOHN: Wow!

WOMAN #4: Yes, much better! Uh-huh! 

JOHN: Isn’t it amazing?   

WOMAN #4: Yes, it is!

JOHN: Isn’t God good?

WOMAN #4: Yes, He is!

JOHN: Hey, God bless you!

AUDIENCE: [Clapping]

JOHN: Let’s help this bloke up out of here. Hey mate! Choooh! Choooh! Shoooh! It that higher than before?  

MAN #1: It is!

JOHN: God’s going to keep û is the pain gone?

MAN #1: The pain’s gone! 

JOHN: God’s going to keep touching you, mate! That’s going to keep loosening up as you sit in your seat! As you sit in your seat! But somebody else here. That lady before you’ve got in your abdomen, man, it’s so tender and painful. Man, right now. And you know where are you? You need a miracle! You feel it right now in your abdomen. So where are you? God wants to heal that. Hey ma’am, just come out here. Yes. See in Australia we don’t call ladies “ma’am.” This is an American term so I’ve gotten used to saying “ma’am” the last few weeks. 

AUDIENCE: [Laughter]

JOHN: It sounds good. Ma’am. I think it sounds good. Ma’am. Do you think it sounds good?

AUDIENCE: Yes.

JOHN: It sounds great! Hey g’day! What’s up with you?  

WOMAN #5: I’m okay except sometimes I do have this pain over in left side. I did have surgery one time and the doctors say it is probably okay but I still have pain.

SID: What about cancer? Are you seeing much victory there?

JOSHUA: You know what? I would like to see more, and we’re pressing in for that, for the more. But we have had so many amazing reports of people being healed from cancer. I was ministering down in Phoenix Arizona a few years ago and the oil began to flow from my hands and we had everybody that was in the meetings line up so that I could lay hands upon them and believe God with them for their miracle and there was a man who was suffering with terminally, terminal cancer. And I laid my hands on him and he came back with a report, about a month later a report of complete healing, he was completely cancer free. God had done a supernatural miracle in his life. And not only did he get healed of cancer but after he had received prayer that night he wanted to give his life to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and he actually accepted the Lord into his life and that’s the greatest miracle of all!

SID: I love it when non-believers receive a physical healing

JOSHUA: Right. (LAUGHING)

 SID: And then it’s very easy to lead them to the Lord.

JOSHUA: Right.

SID: But guess what? That’s the way Jesus did it!

JOSHUA: Right.

SID: That’s normal. The world has to be NORMAL! It’s gotten away from normal. Read the Book! That’s normal. Anything short of that you can say God changed, except the Book says God doesn’t change. “He’s the same yesterday, today and forever.” Joshua I’m going to ask you to do something without any music. If you were by yourself and you began to think of your brand new little baby girl and all the blessings of God in your life, I want you to worship God the way you would do that right now so you kind of demonstrate for us.

JOSHUA: You know what I would do is in those times of just recognizing and thanking God for the miracles that He’s given me in my life, I just begin to just from my heart just begin to sing, just begin from my heart just releasing a song of praise and oftentimes it’s so simple anybody really could do it. But that’s the wonder of it. God isn’t looking for a complicated worship or a complicated praise. He’s just looking for that song that comes right from our heart.

[JOSHUA SINGS]

 I sing Lord, I thank You for the glory and the blessings that You’ve given to me every day. Lord, I thank You for Your glory and for Your blessings that You’ve given to me. You’re a good God. And You’re an awesome God. Lord, I thank You for Your blessings. You’re a good God. You’re an awesome God. Lord, I thank You for Your blessings. Something like that.

SID: Now tell me this Joshua. Do you it’s one thing to do this publicly as you just did.

JOSHUA: Right.

SID: Do you really worship God like this?

JOSHUA: All the time, all the time! From the time I wake up to the time I go to sleep. All day long I’ve got a song in my heart!

JOSHUA: I couldn’t. I could not. I was absolutely overcome by the Spirit of God. I was overwhelmed by God and it’s a really good thing because I came out of that encounter the next day with more of a hunger for God than I had ever had in my entire life. And I had more of a desire to be with God, spend time in His presence. And one of the overflows from that encounter was this overwhelming desire to praise and worship the Lord with everything that I had. To give my life to God in every single way. And I began sitting down at an old piano that we

SID: Now, but let me take you back.

JOSHUA: Sure.

SID: When you were really young you did what I did. You had piano lessons but

JOSHUA: I did. I did. (laughing)

SID: And they said about you what they should have said about me I just didn’t know and maybe they said it about me. What did they say about you? Huh!

JOSHUA: (laughing) My piano teacher actually told my mother she said you need to stop bringing Joshua to these lessons. You need to save your money. He will never, ever learn how to play the piano. That’s what she said.

SID: Okay. So you have this insatiable desire all of a sudden with this encounter you had with God

JOSHUA: Right.

SID: to worship God. So you sit at the piano knowing you can’t play it and what’s happening?

JOSHUA: And the Holy Spirit literally begins to teach me and instruct me. Just like the Bible says “He will teach you in all things.” And He literally began to teach me and instruct me in praise and worship and teach me how to play the piano. Teach me how to sing songs to Him. And I begin writing hundreds of songs, of praise and worship songs over the next year. Just these songs would just come.

SID: Had you written, had you ever written a song before?

JOSHUA: Oh gosh, probably as a little child I probably wrote something silly but I had never written praise and worship songs. I had never written anything that was significant like what was coming out of me at this time. Absolutely amazing.

SID: Speaking of significant, we have a bonus CD, one of Joshua Mill’s best. And what kind of feedback are you getting on people that listen to your music? And this is a soaking CD which means it’s pure music. And what kind of feedback are you getting?

JOSHUA: You know we had a teacher contact us from Auckland New Zealand who had been dealing with children in her school that were troubled and causing a lot of problems and she said she played the soaking CD in the classroom and she said it actually brought an atmosphere of peace and just, just totally changed the atmosphere completely when she began to play that CD. And the children’s behavior began to change. They became much more compatible, much more behaved, would listen a whole lot more. And she sent us an email just testifying about it and so excited and thanking us that we had created this resource that she could use to change the atmosphere in her workplace.

SID: Well it was supernatural that you played the piano. How long did it take from the time you were fiddling with the piano and realizing hey, I can play this thing! My teacher was wrong!

JOSHUA: (laughs) It was only a matter of months, I think about two or three months and I began to lead praise and worship as part of a youth band at our church and then from there you know it just accelerated and got more invitations to travel around and do that. And you know I’m still travelling today because of what God did in my life supernaturally when I was 16 years old.
